📍 For Elite and Platinum tickets — In front of MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center (near Rin Kham Intersection, Nimmanhaemin Road) .

📍 For Gold, Premium, VIP, and Standard tickets — Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre (near the 700th Anniversary Stadium) .

【Drop-off at Chiang Mai】

Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Maya Shopping Mall (Nimmanhaemin Road), Night Bazzar (ChangKhan Road) It takes about 40 minutes to drive from the meeting point to the CAD venue.

Schedule

• 13:00 Meet the staffs at pick-up point then transfer to the venue. Shuttle leaves every 5 mins from 13:00 - 15:00 pm.
• 14:00-17:00 Arrival at the Venue, please present your E-Ticket on your mobile to register a ticket at the main entrance. Then Received a hanging badge and souvenirs.
• 14:30-17:30 Enjoy activities at CAD craft Village, tribal village, Loy krathong activities ( recieve Krathong at krathong Zone).
• 17:30-19:00 Enter the corresponding dining zone according to your ticket. Enjoy Thai Lanna Buffet Dinner, Snacks, desserts, non alcohol beverages.
• 19:00 Enter to the ritual area in front of the great pagoda and find your seat number. There are two sky lanterns on each seat.
• 19.40 Enjoy show on the stage. Drum, Candle Show, Religious ceremony, Monk chanting.
• 20:15 Launching Lanterns and watch firework.
• 20:45 End of ceremony. Head to parking lot and transfer back to Chiang Mai.

Exclusions

• Transportation from your hotel to meeting point is not included.Arrange your own transportation to our meeting point.
• The cost of snacks outside the food zone of the venue is at your own expense.
• Other personal expenses. You are suggested to bring a marker pen to write on the lantern.

How to Use E-ticket

• At meeting point: After arriving at the meeting point, please find the tent of the CAD staffs, show the QR code on your e-ticket for verification, and queue up in an orderly manner to wait for the bus.
• A registration gate: After arriving at the CAD venue, head to the Gate and show the QR code on your e-ticket for verification at registration area and exchange for the paper ticket.
• Enter food zone and ritual area: Please keep your paper ticket safely. You need the paper ticket to enter the food zone and the ceremony area for seating.

Things to Do at CAD Sky Lantern Festival

1. Integrate into the mountain tribes and experience their unique cultural customs and way of life.

2. Experience the vibrant and bustling Lana traditional market.

3. Feel the skills of the Lanna people and appreciate their precious cultural heritage through various activities such as pottery making, traditional weaving, and local cuisine preparation.

4. Appreciate the folk dances and traditional music of Lanna.

5. Watch the Muay Thai performance and even learn the basic Muay Thai techniques.

6. Taste the local delicacies at the special food stalls in the CAD Folk Village.

7. Float a loy krathong on the lake to make a wish and pray for blessings at the Loy Krathong area.

8. Light a candle and make a wish for blessings at wishing mound.

9. Enter the ritual area in front of the pagoda, and watch the well prepared stage performance, experiencing Lanna art.

10. Around 20:15 in the evening, the host will give an explanation about floating the sky lanterns and count down together to release them, creating a magnificent scene.

Kind Reminder

1. Children under 8 enter free but must sit with parents. No extra lanterns or souvenirs are provided, and they may share a parent's meal.

2. Please click on your e-ticket link to check the up-to-date schedule and other information. This will help you avoid missing any updates from the CAD organizers.

3. You may need to show your passport information at meeting point or registration gate for verification. You are suggested to take a photo of the personal information page of your passport and save it on your mobile phone just in case.

4. You will spend a about 7-8 hours at the venue. It is recommended that you bring a portable power bank.

5. To ensure the smooth and safe operation of the lantern release, all participants must follow the instructions of the staff and the host to prevent any accidents.

6. If you plan to write on the kite lantern, it is recommended that you bring your own pen.

1. On-site medical staff and ambulances can provide assistance in emergency situations.

2. Fire truck and rescue teams are stationed at the venue, responsible for safety management and emergency response.

3. The police and security personnel will patrol the venue to ensure the safety of the participants.
